Fandom is Magic.

Note: If you want to avoid text posts and just see the etiquette cards, visit this link.

This is a blog gathering tips on how to treat EVERYONE in the fandom decently. It is not a one-stop-shop to praise Bronies and ignore troubles in the fandom.

Often, people feel pushed out of the fandom for various reasons. Some of these reasons include dismissing young fans (as in the target audience), sexism and objectification, pedophilia-laced ships/drawings, pornography posted everywhere, racism, slurs, transphobia, and crude remarks against cospayers.

This often gets dismissed by Bronies by saying "We're not all like that!" and acting like there can be no faults with the fandom. This makes people feel uncomfortable and left out because it shows that Bronies don't care that others are bullied, and instead just want praise for existing.

These cards are for people who feel left out, as well as reminders to people who do want to treat others better but might be doing something unkind unintentionally.

Posts will be made by me and a mysterious mod, but you can share your ideas via the ask box. Not all will get published, and spamming the inbox is an instant ban.

WARNING though--if you say something really vile, your name will get published on the blog so that others can be warned to stay away from you. Text posts will be fairly rare now, and questions may be answered privately, but there are limits to these things.

[text reads “Don’t make sexist jokes about the characters.” Image is Mrs. Cake with her hoof pointed forward.]
Poor Mrs. Cake! When a cute episode about the babies appeared, she got accused of all sorts of things because they were a tiny Pegasus and Unicorn, whereas she and Mr. Cake are Earth ponies.  This, of course, was mostly done so Pinkie could have a hell of a time babysitting little Pound and Pumpkin.
You’re not funny or original when you do these things. You’re just upsetting people.
